Get them started young! This is harder than it sounds. Kids don’t tend to want to do what their parents want them to.
So somehow, we have to bridge that gap so they build the desire within themselves.
What should you do then? First, limit the technology use. It can hold us back if we don’t use it for the right reasons. Have them spend more time getting to know themselves and the outside world around them rather than getting to know the virtual world of the internet.
What else? Get them interested by learning some of their own current favorite songs. That really helped me want to learn more about music, or more specifically guitar playing.
